Icarus cards are very simple to use.
Each card is a different wallet, with 2 QR codes : a public key, and private key under the hologram.
This guide shows you how to use the card, send bitcoin to the card, and retrieve the funds.
1. Download a wallet
In order to send and retrieve funds, you have to download and install a wallet, either on your mobile phone or your computer.
For this tutorial, we will use Mycelium wallet, but you can use Electrum, Ledger Live, or any other software wallet.

2. Scan the public key and transfer funds
Scan the card’s public key and send bitcoins to the address
3. Redeem the card and retrieve funds
Cut the lamination layer, peel the hologram to scan the private key and retrieve the funds.
As we use native Segwit/bech32 adress format, depending on the wallet you use to sweep the private key (Electrum for example), you might have to add this : p2wpkh:”your_private_key”
